From March 9th to April 9th is the iRead! You have to read a lot of minutes to win the trophy for our school. This month is also the speech tournament. You can do a duet or a solo. You act out a play. That’s what happened this week.

It’s time for Open House!! Open house is on Thursday, September 15th at 7:00pm. The fourth grade presentation will start in the library, followed by a visit to your child’s classroom. I look forward to meeting all the parents!

What a great first week of school! We have started to build our classroom community and are getting to know everyone a little better.
In science, we have started our unit on ecosystems and we are looking forward to our Heller Nature Center field trip this Friday.
